Our church focuses on one virtue each month, and this month the virtue is gratitude. Today I had this little exchange with my 7 year old:
Jake: Hey Mom.
Me: Yeah?
Jake: I know a way I want to show gratitude.
Me: Really? What?
Jake: I'd like to throw a party to thank my mouse for being my pet.
